Get ready for a healthier you! Baxter Health and KTLO, Classic Hits & The Boot are teaming up again to present the 2024 Health Fair and Expo. With events open in both Mountain Home and Harrison, there's something fun – not to mention educational – that everyone can enjoy while taking steps towards better health.

The 43rd Annual Health Fair and Expo in Mountain Home will be at The Sheid on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024. The 2024 Health Fair and Expo in Harrison will be at Signature Tower on Friday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Click here for more information, including a list of participating Baxter Health and community vendors in Harrison or download the event map.

Vouchers will also provided to all Health Fair and Expo attendees to receive free blood sugar, cholesterol, PSA and HbA1c testing. In Mountain Home, lab vouchers are valid on Wednesday, October 16 and Thursday, October 17 from 6 to 9 a.m. and redeemable at Baxter Health Outpatient Laboratory only. Registration at Admissions is required before going to the Lab for testing. In Harrison, vouchers can be redeemed at Crossroads Family Clinic on Tuesday, October 29 from 8 to 10 a.m. A 12-hour fast is recommended for most accurate results.

Each event is open to everyone in the community and will have various health screenings on-site, educational exhibits, and a chance to win a 5-day Caribbean cruise* for two out of New Orleans! The Meat Shop will be grilling hot dogs for all attendees at each location. A Teddy Bear Clinic, an interactive healthcare experience with teddy bear repair and adoption, is also planned and will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at each location. Come out and learn more about the services that Baxter Health and other community partners have to offer and the impact we plan to make in your community for the better.

*OFFICIAL RULES: Baxter Health 5-Day Cruise Giveaway

Eligibility: Open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry and are legal residents of Arkansas or Missouri. A valid ID and/or passport will be required to redeem the prize.

Entry Process: To enter, participants must fill out a paper entry form at the 2024 Baxter Health Fair & Expo, held in Mountain Home or Harrison, Arkansas.

Entry Period: Entries will be accepted starting at 9:00 AM on October 10, 2024, and must be submitted no later than 4:00 PM on October 11, 2024, during Health Fair & Expo operating hours.

Prize Details: The winner will receive a 5-day Carnival Caribbean Cruise for two people, departing from New Orleans in a balcony stateroom. The prize will include additional expenses such as tips and gratuities. The winner is responsible for applicable taxes as a result of the winning. Travel to and from the port in New Orleans is not included.

Winner Selection: Five finalists will be randomly selected from the Mountain Home Health Fair & Expo entries, and five finalists will be randomly selected from the Harrison Health Fair & Expo entries. The grand prize winner will be drawn from these finalists and announced live on KTLO (Classic Hits 101.7 FM) during the broadcast of the Mountain Home Bombers football game on Friday, October 11, 2024.

Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received at both the Mountain Home and Harrison Health Fair & Expo.

Winner Notification: The winner will be contacted following the live announcement and will have 30 days to choose one of the two provided cruise date options.
