The best babysitter is a Safe Sitter! Safe Sitter® is a medically accurate program that teaches young adolescents how to handle emergencies when caring for children. This class teaches safe and nurturing child care techniques, behavior management skills, and appropriate responses to medical emergencies.
Baxter Regional is proud to offer Safe Sitter classes this summer at the Schliemann Center for Women's Health Education. Choose one of five 2-day sessions scheduled:
Wednesday, June 9 - Thursday, June 10 SESSION FULL!
Wednesday, June 23 - Thursday, June 24 SESSION FULL!
Wednesday, July 7 - Thursday, July 8 SESSION FULL!
Wednesday, July 21 - Thursday, July 22 SESSION FULL!
Wednesday, August 4 - Thursday, August 5 SESSION FULL!
All sessions are from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. with lunch provided. Cost is $35 and includes Safe Sitter registration; student manual, completion card and messenger bag with supplies. Scholarships are available based on financial need.
