Miguel Plaza-Lloret, MD

About Miguel

Dr. Plaza-Lloret most recently served as an attending anesthesiologist at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine. His extensive training includes both a chronic pain fellowship and an anesthesiology residency at the Medical College of Georgia – Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. He also practiced as a consultant anesthesiologist at the University Hospital La Fe in Valencia, Spain, and at Al-Takhassusi Hospital in Riyadh, Kingdom Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Plaza-Lloret began his medical career by earning his degree in medicine and surgery at the University of Valencia in Valencia, Spain. He received training in anesthesia and intensive care at Vall D’Hebron Hospital, Mataro Hospital and other facilities in Barcelona, Spain, and in the anesthesia and acute pain management department in the New York School of Regional Anesthesia program at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City, New York.

Outside of caring for his patients, Dr. Plaza-Lloret enjoys spending time with family, taking his three daughters to gymnastics, swimming, and exercising with them.
