Nick Souder, MD

About Nick

Before relocating to Mountain Home, Dr. Souder served as an orthopaedic surgeon at Childress Regional Medical Center in Childress, Texas, where he implemented a rapid recovery joint program to help improve recovery for patients after joint replacements. His previous experience includes serving as an orthopaedic surgeon at Scott and White Memorial Hospitals in Temple, Killeen, and Round Rock, Texas, as well as in solo practice in Childress.

Dr. Souder completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Texas A&M University Health and Sciences Center and at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Science in agriculture and applied economics, with a double minor in chemistry and biology, from Texas Tech.

Outside of caring for his patients, Dr. Souder enjoys spending time outdoors and going fishing, camping, and hiking with his wife and three children. Both born and raised enjoying a small town life, they are looking forward to being a part of the Mountain Home community
