Zaid Alirhayim, MD

About Zaid

Zaid Alirhayim, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in valvular heart disease, structural heart disease, and high-risk coronary artery disease. He had completed a structural heart disease fellowship at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, and a cardiology fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. His training also includes an internal medicine residency at the Henry Ford Health System/Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Alirhayim earned both his Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science in medicine and medical sciences from the Arabian Gulf University College of Medicine and Medical Sciences in Manama, Bahrain.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology subspecialties. He also holds certifications in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular CT and hypertension.

Dr. Alirhayim was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by an interest in science and an ambition to help people. His approach to providing care is driven by a philosophy of treating each patient as if they are a family member or friend.
