Baxter Health Behavioral Health Outpatient program provides telehealth mental health services through the Baxter Health primary care clinics. With this program, we are able to continue to provide behavioral health services to our patients who have a primary care physician through Baxter Health. To begin services, you can ask your primary care physician for a referral or contact our program at (870) 508-7820.
Your initial appointment will be at the Baxter Health Clinic where you currently receive primary care. After your initial assessment, you can continue to receive your mental health telehealth services at your primary care clinic, or you can access these services from your home if you have the necessary equipment, such as phone or computer and internet service. This at-home option allows many patients to receive services without travel or without having to take as much time off work. Please note that patients must be 18 years of age or older to receive these services.
An individualized treatment plan will be created for each patient to specify goals and objectives for their treatment in order to help each patient achieve what they want and need from their services. Based on the level of services a patient needs, follow-up appointment will be scheduled to meet those needs. After the initial assessment, patients can participate in both therapy and medication management or only one of these services if they feel they only need therapy or only need medication management.
For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call (870) 508-7820.
