Aortic Aneurysms

Overview

The aorta, which is the main artery responsible for transporting blood from the heart to the rest of the body, may experience a bulging or ballooning condition known as an aortic aneurysm. This condition emerges due to a weakness within the aorta's wall. The ongoing pressure from blood flowing through the artery prompts the formation of this bulge, developing an aortic aneurysm.
