Sylvia Hathaway, APRN, joins BRMC Clinic at Flippin

Baxter Regional Medical Center welcomes Sylvia Hathaway, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, to the staff of the BRMC Clinic at Flippin.

Originally from Riverside, California, Sylvia served in the Air Force and the Arizona Air National Guard. She obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing from Mesa Community College and worked as an Registered Nurse in ICU, high risk antepartum, and outpatient hemodialysis. After getting married, Sylvia and her husband Robert moved to his hometown near West Monroe, Louisiana, where she began teaching practical nursing and continued her education, earning a BS in Clinical Lab Science with a minor in Toxicology in 2001 and BS in nursing in 2004 from the University of Louisiana, Monroe. She went on to receive her MSN in 2007 from the University of Northern Louisiana, Natchitoches.

As a board certified nurse practitioner, Sylvia has experience in acute care and family practice. Sylvia also enjoys researching genealogy, listening to bluegrass music and rock collecting.
