The Acute Inpatient Rehab Unit at Baxter Regional Medical Center was recently
recognized as a 2015 Top Performer by Uniform Data System (UDS). The Top
Performer achievement is for those among the top 10% of UDS subscribing
facilities in 2015 rankings (based on 2014 data).
UDS is the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services intermediary for
inpatient medical rehabilitation facilities. Approximately 70% of all
inpatient rehabilitation facilities are subscribers, with data tracked
and benchmarked against other rehab facilities nationally. BRMC was previously
recognized as a Top Performer in 2008.
The Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is committed to providing individualized
and flexible treatment programs for patients who have been disabled by
injury or illness, with a mission to assist the patient in obtaining the
skills needed to live and work independently. Successful rehabilitation
demands a healthy transition from the hospital to the home and community.
