Baxter Regional Medical Center Chief Operating Officer Rudy Darling announced today that the Center for Individual and Family Development located in Gassville will be closing effective March 31, 2015.
"It is a sad day for us to have to make this announcement,” stated Darling. “As a regional hospital, it is our responsibility to do all that we can to provide excellent healthcare to the communities we serve, and part of that responsibility is to evaluate the service lines offered. There are other service providers in the Twin Lakes Area who are able to provide a more cost effective program, which was, in part, our catalyst for closing the Center for Individual and Family Development. We are working with these service providers as part of the transitioning process,” Darling stated.
“We are working diligently with current patients and providers to have a seamless transition and to have current CIFD staff look at other opportunities within the BRMC organization,” Darling stated.
