With high school graduation quickly approaching, young ladies may be headed off on new adventures, often to the unfamiliar territory of a new city. Knowledge about self-protection is a vital resource that she can pack up and take with her!
Teens, bring your moms (grandmothers, aunts, sisters or mentors are welcome as well)! Moms, bring your daughters! Join us at Teen Girls' Night Out on Thursday, April 16 at 6 p.m. in the BRMC Lagerborg Dining Room. Officer Larry Caruso of Mountain Home Police Department will lead a hands-on program about situational awareness and self defensive tactics.
The event is free with dinner provided, but space is limited. Registration is required. To register, call the Schliemann Center for Women's Health Education at (870) 508-2345, email Jaren Beavers, SCWHE Coordinator, at jbeavers@baxterregional.org or visit the calendar event to register online.
