Teen! Girls' Night Out: Selfies, Sharing & Safety

Once upon a time, there was the wild, wild west. Nowadays, we have the wild, wild web with seemingly endless frontiers of excitement and discovery online! But just like the days of old, this exciting territory can also be endangering.

The Schliemann Center for Women's Health Education encourages girls in 7th to 12th grades to attend Teen! Girls' Night Out: Selfies, Sharing & Safety on Thursday, April 28, 2016, 3:30 - 6 p.m., in the Knox Community Room at the Donald W. Reynolds Library serving Baxter County. Attendees will learn about how to make the most of social networking experiences and keep their safety a top priority.

The event is free of charge with snacks provided, but space is limited. Registration is required. To reserve your spot, call the Schliemann Center at (870) 508-2345 or email Jaren Beavers, SCWHE Coordinator, at jbeavers@baxterregional.org.
