Due to an enormous crane being brought in to lift an air handling unit to the top of Baxter Regional Medical Centerandrsquo;s 6th story tower, the parking area on the east side of BRMC (between the hospital and Hiram Shaddox, as indicated on map below) will be closed to all vehicles beginning Monday, March 28 until completion on Friday, April 4, barring any unforeseen complications.
BRMC encourages all employees, patients, and visitors to park in alternate lots and make use of the shuttle service if needed by calling (870) 421-4374 or (870) 421-2948.
As the installation of the air handler unit proceeds, any areas affected will be provided with portable HEPA filter air handlers or temporary air conditioners. Exemplary patient care will not be compromised in any fashion during this time frame.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause as we make necessary repairs to improve and maintain the integrity of the physical structure of Baxter Regional Medical Center.
