When cancer has spread to other parts of the body, it is called metastatic cancer. One of the biggest challenges during this time is uncertainty about whatandrsquo;s ahead. It helps to understand metastatic cancer, the options available, and ways to cope. It is important to find support and have the opportunity to share feelings and concerns with others who are dealing with advanced cancer.
The first meeting of Living with Metastatic Cancer, a new support group at the Peitz Cancer Support House, will be Thursday, November 10 at noon with a andldquo;Sharing and Caring” session. If you or a loved one has metastatic or advanced cancer, you are invited to attend the Living with Metastatic Cancer support group meeting at the PCSH on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at noon.
