Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation will earn bonus dollars and have a chance to earn prizes for every gift given online through ArkansasGives.org from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. this Thursday, April 6.
"Your online donation April 6 will help Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation raise additional funds and awareness for the four BRMC Community Health Education and Support Houses. The Mruk Family Education Center on Aging, Reppell Diabetes Learning Center, Peitz Cancer Support House and Schliemann Center for Women’s Health Education rely solely on your donations to keep providing the free services they do for our community," said Cindy Costa, CFRE, Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation Director of Development.
Last year, ArkansasGives raised $4.6 million online in one day for 600 nonprofits statewide. This yearand#39;s goal is $4 million. Arkansas Community Foundation has set up a $400,000 bonus pool to be divided among the charities participating statewide. In addition, Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation will compete for additional cash prizes to be awarded to the organizations that raise the that raise the most money and recruit the most individual donors.
The public will be able to give online from smartphones, tablets or personal computers by going to ArkansasGives.org on April 6, choosing Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation and making a credit card donation.
All donations designated to Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation through ArkansasGives on April 6 will help the BRMC Community Health Education and Support Houses - Mruk Family Education Center on Aging, Reppell Diabetes Learning Center, Peitz Cancer Support House and Schliemann Center for Women’s Health Education – continue providing programs and services to the Twin Lakes area.

Proper education and disease management can help both children and adults maintain a healthy lifestyle. The Reppell Diabetes Learning Center provides the necessary tools to manage this disease, including:

The Schliemann Center for Women's Health Education is committed to promoting good health and well-being for women in every stage of their lives.
