Peitz Cancer Support House to Host Women's Retreat

The Peitz Cancer Support House of Baxter Regional Medical Center will host its 17th annual Women's Retreat Friday, April 5 through Sunday, April 7 at Gaston's White River Resort in Lakeview, Arkansas. Women who have recently been diagnosed, currently going through treatment, or who have recently finished treatment are encouraged to attend.

It's time to refresh your spirit, heart, and your mind. The weekend will include relaxing, uplifting, and educational activities from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. Alecia Czantskowski, a registered nurse at Mountain Home High School Career Academies and breast cancer survivor, will be the featured speaker. All guests will be pampered with chair massages, makeovers, and a photo shoot.

Cost is $100, which includes lodging, meals and activities. Scholarships are available. Registration forms are available at the Peitz Cancer Support House, and the deadline to register to attend is Thursday, March 7.
