The Ernest and Anna Ritter Family Endowment recently presented Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation a $50,000 grant to fund the crucial upgrade of Baxter Regional Medical Center (BRMC) Ambulance Services radios. The current system utilizes the aging VHF/UHF radio signals and requires ambulance staff to monitor the radio frequency closely or risk losing signal. With the grant from the Ritter Family, BRMC will upgrade its radios to a system that utilizes a more reliable digital signal and in turn, enhance care for patients and their families.
The Ritter Family Endowment was created to assist the Ritter family and its subsidiaries – E. Ritter & Company, Ritter Communications and Ritter Agribusiness – in carrying out charitable activities. The mission of the Endowment is to support and strengthen the communities they serve by providing resources, leadership and necessary collaboration to meet local needs.
