Jamie Parrott, DNP, APRN, AGCNS-BC, has joined the practice of Dr. James E. Thompson and Lesa Kerley, APRN, at the Baxter Health Hometown Clinic at West Plains. Jamie specializes in the adult and geriatric population in both acute and primary care settings. She has a critical care certification signifying a commitment to high quality standards of care. She has been a Registered Nurse at Baxter Regional Medical Center since 2007, the last 3 years of which have been as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), working with the group of Baxter Regional hospitalists.
Jamie earned an Associate of Science in Nursing in 2007 at Missouri State University in West Plains, MO. Jamie is a graduate of the University of Missouri Sinclair School of Nursing where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012, certificate in Public Health in 2015, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2016.
Jamie is a native of Oregon County, Missouri, and enjoys outdoor activities. She also enjoys medical mission volunteering and improving access to healthcare in rural areas.
