Baxter Regional Medical Center Celebrates Global Nursing Designation With Big Friday Night Event

To celebrate achieving Magnet Recognition, Baxter Regional is hosting a special Friday Night Live at Hickory Park on July 9th.

In celebration of the outstanding achievement of Magnet Recognition, Baxter Regional is hosting Friday Night Live at Hickory Park on July 9th. Gates open at 4 P.M., festivities begin at 5 P.M. and the event will end at 10 P.M. This will be the biggest Friday Night Live yet, with live music, over 15 different food vendors, a Beer Garden, arts and craft vendors, and a huge Kids’ Zone. There will be fun for all ages so bring the whole family.

The Kattie Laney Project will be headlining the live music with opening acts DJ Peace and Bluegrass Band. Seating will not be available, so please bring your own lawn chairs.

Half of all proceeds from the Beer Garden will benefit the Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation. Attendees must be 21 to enter, and all alcohol must stay in the Beer Garden area. Please Drink Responsibly.

Many different food options will be available at the event, including food trucks such as At The Curb, Heavenly Fried Pies, Kettle Corn, ParadIce Cream, Vickey’s Kitchen and Snow Bizz. Other food vendors include Cove Coffee, Rio Burritio, Bookworms, El Chico, Hillbilly Grub Shack, Holy Smokes BBQ and more

Safe and fun entertainment for your children will also be available. Kids’ Zone activities include bounce houses, obstacle courses, face painting, temporary tattoos, Drift Trik Racing, Firetruck Tours, Cornhole and more! The Kids’ Zone is conveniently located within visual distance of all main adult attractions including the Beer Garden, food vendors and the main stage.
