Baxter Health welcomes Anthony Reed as new VP/Ancillary Services
Baxter Health is proud to have recently welcomed a new member to its Senior Leadership Team. Anthony Reed was named Vice President of Ancillary Services and now leads the clinical departments of Cardiac Diagnostic Testing, Cardiopulmonary, Cardiac Rehab, Sleep Lab, Interventional Pain Management, Wound Healing Center, Laboratory, Pathology, Pharmacy, Outpatient Physical Therapy Clinics, Rehab Services and Radiology as well as Engineering, Bio-Med, Housekeeping, Laundry, Food Services and Security. Reed’s previous role at Baxter Health was Director of Acute Inpatient Rehab, where he had served since July, 2013.
A native of Mountain Home, Reed earned an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University before earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Downers Grove, IL. In 2015, he earned a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Business in Memphis, TN.
Reed joined the Baxter Health Family in 2008 as a Certified Nursing Assistant and continued serving in various roles in the organization, including Charge Nurse in Orthopaedics and Interim Director of Hensley Behavioral Health Center. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home since 2011 and was also named by the Arkansas Center for Nursing as one of the 40 Nursing Leaders Under 40 in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
He and his wife Vanessa have been married for 15 years and are parents of four children.
