Baxter Health Welcomes Dr. John Austin Carlisle to Medical Staff

Baxter Health is proud to welcome general surgeon John Austin Carlisle, DO, to our medical staff. Dr. Carlisle has joined the practice of Dr. John Spore, Dr. Jacob Dickinson and Dr. Jennifer Foster at Ozark Surgical Group in Mountain Home.

A graduate of University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Dr. Carlisle attended medical school at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and completed a general surgery residency at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa. Dr. Carlisle is a native of the area and a graduate of Mountain Home High School, and he was a recipient of the Baxter Regional Hospital Foundation Robert L. Kerr Medical Student Scholarship.

He and his wife Jordan have five children, and he spends his free time doing things that keep him active, including hiking and fishing. The Carlisles are happy to be back in Mountain Home, and we are proud to welcome them to the Baxter Health Family!
