Baxter Regional Reppell Diabetes Learning Center Receives Approval for Renewal of Accreditation

Reppell Diabetes Learning Center has been approved for renewal of accreditation from the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists.

The Reppell Diabetes Learning Center recently renewed its status as an accredited diabetes education program by the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES). This allows people with diabetes in and around the Twin Lakes area increased access to high quality diabetes education services.

Diabetes education is a collaborative process through which people with or at risk for diabetes gain the knowledge and skills needed to modify behavior and successfully self-manage the disease and its related conditions. The RDLC program is comprehensive and taught by certified diabetes educators with extensive training.

The ADCES is an interprofessional membership organization dedicated to improving prediabetes, diabetes and cardiometabolic care through innovative education, management and support.
