Baxter Health Foundation is delighted to announce a generous donation of $50,000, which has been used to purchase six new Stryker stretchers for our Cline Emergency Center. This significant gift comes from an anonymous donor in the community whose philanthropic spirit and dedication to healthcare improvement are deeply appreciated.
These state-of-the-art Stryker stretchers represent a critical capital need for our hospital. Designed with both clinicians and patients in mind, the new stretchers aim to reduce physical strain on medical staff, enhance patient comfort during transport, and drive overall hospital efficiency. A standout feature of these new stretchers is the integrated scale system. This innovative upgrade allows for patients who are unconscious or physically unable to stand to be weighed simply by laying on the stretcher, enhancing both clinical outcomes and patient experience.
"We are incredibly grateful for this generous gift," said Sarah Edwards, Executive Director of the Baxter Health Foundation. "These new stretchers are a much needed upgrade for our emergency center, and they would not have been possible without this donation. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our benefactor for their unwavering support of Baxter Health."
This donation underscores Baxter Health Foundation's commitment to continually improving patient care and experiences. The Foundation continuously seeks to drive advancements in healthcare, and this contribution significantly aids that mission.
