Baxter Health Welcomes Alex Kilgore, MD, to the Medical Staff

Baxter Health is pleased to welcome Alex Kilgore, MD, to the medical staff. Dr. Kilgore is an ophthalmologist in private practice at Kilgore Vision Center.

Dr. Kilgore, a Mountain Home native, recently completed his ophthalmology residency from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, where he also earned his Doctor of Medicine. Before his residency, Dr. Kilgore completed a transitional year internship at Unity Health in Searcy, Arkansas. His academic journey began with an Associate of Arts from Arkansas State University in Mountain Home, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.

Outside of seeing his patients, Dr. Kilgore enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his wife Whitney and their daughters Stella and Remi.

Dr. Kilgore’s extensive education and training equip him to provide high-quality care to his patients. He is a tremendous asset to the community, ensuring that our patients at Baxter Health receive the highest quality of eye care.
