Baxter Health Welcomes Isabella Guajardo, MD, to the Medical Staff

Baxter Health is proud to welcome general surgeon Isabella Guajardo, MD, to the medical staff. Dr. Guajardo has joined the practice of Dr. John Austin Carlisle, Dr. Jacob Dickinson, Dr. Jennifer Foster, and Dr. David M. Harrison at Ozark Surgical Group in Mountain Home.

Dr. Guajardo brings a wealth of experience and numerous accolades to Ozark Surgical Group. She recently completed a general surgery residency at the University of California San Diego Department of Surgery, where she has been recognized with multiple awards, including awards for teaching, consulting, and robotics skills.

Dr. Guajardo attended the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Prior to her medical degree, she performed research and completed a pre-medical post-baccalaureate program at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, performed research at the University of California San Francisco, and graduated from the University of San Diego with dual degrees in music and history and a minor in architecture.

In addition to caring for her patients, Dr. Guajardo enjoys fishing, riding horses, scuba diving, painting, and playing piano. She is excited to be in Arkansas, as her husband’s family is from the Searcy area.
