Baxter Health Welcomes Jason Nazarenko to the Business Development Team

Baxter Health would like to welcome Jason Nazarenko as Business Development Coordinator. With a distinguished background in both military service and community development, Jason brings a wealth of experience and leadership to our organization.

Jason holds advanced degrees, including a Master of Philosophy in Management from Walden University, a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Southern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Studies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. His certifications include Six Sigma Black Belt and Project Management Professional. He has served in various roles, including Program Manager and pilot for the U.S. Army, Senior Operations Manager with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, online adjunct instructor of management courses at Indiana Wesleyan University, Base Pilot Supervisor of the Air Evac Lifeteam, and currently holds the titles of President/CEO of Potter Block Properties LLC and Business Development Coordinator at Baxter Health.

As Black Hawk pilot and Senior Operations Manager for the United States Army’s elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Night Stalkers), Jason could have lived anywhere in the country. He chose to come back home to Cotter and serve his community. His family moved to the area in 1991 after his father, Bill Nazarenko, retired from the Navy. He graduated from Cotter High School in 1994 and served 23 years in the Army. In addition to his military service, Jason is deeply involved in Cotter’s community, currently serving as the Chamber of Commerce President for Cotter-Gassville and a reserve deputy and pilot for the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office.

Jason and his wife Kammi have revitalized Cotter through their company, Potter Block Properties LLC, which they started in 2020. They have renovated historic buildings like the Potter Block and historic Commercial Hotel, fostering community pride.

“We are very excited to welcome Jason to the Business Development team and to our Baxter Health family. Jason’s expertise in project management, logistics, and community engagement will be invaluable as Baxter Health continues to grow and serve the community,” said Brian Barnett, VP of Physician Enterprise and Business Development.
