Baxter Health Welcomes Jacob Carter, MD, to the First In Service Hospitalists

Baxter Health is thrilled to welcome Jacob Carter, MD, to the medical staff. Dr. Carter is a skilled internist joining the First In Service Hospitalists practice group serving at Baxter Health.

Dr. Carter, an Arkansas native, originally obtained his undergraduate degree at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Dr. Carter recently completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health and Sciences Center in Nashville.

We are proud to have such a dedicated and skilled physician join our team, and we believe Dr. Carter will be a wonderful asset to our Baxter Health family and the communities we serve,” said Brian Barnett, VP of Physician Enterprise/Business Development.

In addition to his excitement for caring for his patients, Dr. Carter looks forward to spending his free time fishing, exploring the Ozarks, and enjoying the company of friends, family, and his dogs. Dr. Carter is excited to become involved in the community here in Mountain Home.
