Baxter Health Reppell Diabetes Clinic Celebrates World Diabetes Day with a Community Event

Baxter Health Reppell Diabetes Clinic is excited to announce a special celebration in honor of World Diabetes Day on Thursday, November 14, from 9 AM to 4 PM. The event, open to the public, will focus on diabetes education, health, and well-being, aiming to empower individuals to take charge of their health.

The celebration will feature free diabetes education sessions, health screenings, interactive demonstrations, and a variety of engaging booths from national and local vendors. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy healthy snacks and participate in exciting prize giveaways throughout the day.

Event Highlights Include:

  • 9 – 11 AM | Healthy Eating Expo in the Lagerborg Dining Room, Baxter Health Cafeteria. Learn from nutrition experts about balanced and delicious meal planning. Registration is required due to limited space.

  • 11:30 AM | Qutenza Neuropathy Treatment Demonstration located at Reppell Diabetes Clinic. Discover innovative treatment options for managing neuropathy.

  • NOON - 4PM | Vendor Fair, Healthy Snacks, and Giveaways. Explore diverse health and wellness products and services while enjoying nutritious snacks.

  • 4PM | Breakthrough T1D Walk. Join us for a community walk to support Type 1 Diabetes awareness and research.

"World Diabetes Day is an opportunity for our community to come together, share knowledge, and support one another in the fight against diabetes," said Jodi Bodenhamer, APRN, RN, CDCES, Diabetes Educator. "We encourage everyone to join us, whether you're managing diabetes yourself or supporting loved ones."
