Baxter Health Welcomes Rosa Lopez-Rincon, MD, Anesthesiologist

Baxter Health is pleased to welcome Rosa Lopez-Rincon, MD, to the medical staff. She is an anesthesiologist practicing in the Baxter Health Outpatient Surgery Center and Endoscopy department.

Dr. Lopez-Rincon completed her anesthesiology residency, internship, and critical care fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. She also undertook an anesthesia observership at the same institution, further solidifying her foundational knowledge and skills in anesthesiology.

Dr. Lopez Rincon’s previous experience include practicing as a Consultant Anesthesiologist at University Hospital La Fe in Valencia, Spain, Consultant Anesthesiologist at A1-Takhassusi Hospital in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Consultant Anesthesiologist at University Hospital of Albacete in Albacete, Spain.

Dr. Lopez-Rincon began her medical career by earning her degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Castilla La Mancha in Albacete, Spain. She would go on to complete an anesthesia and intensive care residency at the University General Hospital of Albacete in Albacete, Spain, and an anesthesia observership at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Outside of caring for her patients, Dr. Lopez-Rincon enjoys running, swimming, spending time with her three daughters, and visiting her family and friends from Spain.
