Christine “Chrissy” Razer Recognized as the Hospital CNA of the Year by the National Association of Health Care Assistants

Baxter Health is proud to announce that Christine “Chrissy” Razer, CNA, has been awarded Hospital CNA of the Year by the National Association of Health Care Assistants (NAHCA). This recognition celebrates Chrissy’s outstanding dedication, compassionate care, and dedicated work ethic in her in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Baxter Health.

Chrissy is an invaluable member of the Baxter Health family, consistently demonstrating selflessness, kindness, and a positive attitude that resonates with both her patients and colleagues. Her ability to create a comforting and supportive environment, no matter the situation, is a testament to her professionalism and compassionate approach to patient care.

“Chrissy embodies the very spirit of what it means to be a healthcare hero,” said Rachel Gilbert, MSN, RN, Chief Nursing Officer at Baxter Health. “Her unwavering commitment to her patients, her exceptional work ethic, and her ability to find something to celebrate in every day make her a true leader in our organization. We are incredibly proud to have her on our team, and this recognition is well-deserved.”

The Hospital CNA of the Year award is presented annually to a Certified Nursing Assistant who exemplifies excellence in patient care, professionalism, and leadership within the healthcare community. Chrissy’s ability to maintain a positive and caring presence in the PACU and her consistent efforts to go above and beyond for both patients and fellow staff members set her apart as a leader in her field.

“I am so thankful and honored to receive the Hospital CNA of the Year award,” said Chrissy Razer. “I love what I do, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to care for my patients and work alongside such an amazing team at Baxter Health.
